Data Validation

Delivering effective, customer focussed services relies on having accurate data. Our data validation service is designed to help ensure the integrity of your Assets and Contacts databases.

We will review an extract of your data. Our analysis will identify data errors, gaps and duplications in relation to the contact data held against each tenancy and contact, and the asset data held against all Assets.

Following this review we will provide you with spreadsheets containing the anomalies for each data item, along with summary sheets showing all the required changes for a given contact or asset.

Specifically we will carry out the following:

Contacts database

  • Identify duplicates and potential duplicates
  • Validate that data is held is in the correct field, is appropriate for that field and has been entered in the correct format
  • Identify, so far as is possible, any misspelt entries
  • Identify any data gaps for you to investigate and fill.

Asset database

  • Validate address data to identify whether it is held in the correct fields and has been entered in the correct format. N.B whilst we can identify format issues and miss-entered data we are not able to validate whether postal codes are actually correct for the street address entered.
  • Analyse data held in any additional asset fields to identify whether it is held in the correct field, is appropriate for that field and has been entered in the correct format.
  • Identify, so far as is possible, any misspelt entries
  • Identify any data gaps for you to investigate and fill.
